Inferential and evaluative question tips
- re-state the question into your own words
- Use highly emotive language.
- Convince the reader your ideas are correct.
- Use evidence from the text to support your ideas.
-Link to your own knowledge and experiences, or another text you have read.
- Reference the text name
- Reference the page number when mentioning evidence
- Use the illustrations for evidence when you can
- Structure your sentences well and include conjunctions, commas, inverted commas '' ect when you can
- Make sure you answer the questions clearly, then back it up with evidence ' don't dance around the question'
- Proof read your work!
- Use as much Tier 2 and Tier 3 Vocabulary as you can
